How to change from Lease Year to Calendar Year to Fiscal Year

ALL Programs EXCEPT the GOLD Series

The format for the Financial Reports is set in the Lease Term section on the Inputs sheet.

Start by clicking on the button to Show Special Date Options.

Next Click on the button for Optional Special Date Adjustment.

Clicking on the button to the right of “Start Date for this Analysis” will display a form like the one below.

To change to a Calendar Year, change the start month to January.

To change to a Fiscal Year change the month to the first month of the fiscal year, then click OK.  IMPORTANT - make sure Month & Calendar Year are at or before the lease starts.

To change to a Lease Year make the month the start date of the lease and the year the start year of the lease.

GOLD Series

The format for the financial reports is set in Financial Information section on the Inputs sheet.

To change the Fiscal Year, e.g. FY09. Some companies have “different” fiscal year. For instance, a lease starting in Febuary 2009 with an October Fiscal Year may call the Februrary 2009 part of Fiscal Year 2010, or even 2008. LseMod lets you make that adjustment if necessary.

Go to the Lease Term input section and start by clicking on the button to Show Special Date Options.

Assuming you selected Fiscal Year in the Financial Information section, after clicking the button Show Special Date Options, displayed you will see

Add or Subtract a Year using the +1 Yr. and –1 Yr. buttons.

TIP: In the Gold Series you can also change the format of the Fiscal Year in the input section called Formatting.
