How to show a Partial Term in the financial analysis

Sometimes you may need to know the Partial Term cost, e.g. you are comparing a 5-year lease with a 3-year lease and you want to find the cost and NPV for the first 3 years of the 5-year lease.

Go to the Lease Term input section, select Special Date Options and in the Optional – Partial Term fill in 36. Click the button to show the Partial Term on the report.

After clicking the button, go to the Financial Summary report, at the bottom you will see the cost for the first 36 months. Note: We scrolled up to minimize the size of the graphic below.

You can add the Partial Term cost to LseSum too, see Related Topics below.

TIP: Use the Modify Reports button at the top of the Reports sheet and select Partial Term Calculation - Show/Not Show to hide or unhide the Partial Term.
