How to change the discount (NPV) rate from monthly to quarterly, or annual

In some case, e.g. leases in the UK rent is paid quarterly, LseMod has the ability to adjust the discount rate to quarterly with the user selecting when the quarters will start, e.g. January, February, or March.

Go to the input sheet where the NPV is set and click on the button Adjust PV Timing. Select from the listing, sample displayed below.

TIP: Depending on the program the, the discount rate for NPV calculations is set on the Inputs sheet either in Section 1 – General Information (lease programs in the Silver Series) or in Section 2 –  Financial Information (Gold Series and LseMod Buy & Condo).

TIP: The methodology for the discount rate, i.e. the timing, can also be found in the Tools (button with a hammer & wrench) listing from LseMod’s tool bar.
