In Europe currency is shown in a different format, instead of “,”
(commas) and “.” (decimals) as used in the US, e.g. $75,235.24 in Europe the
format is reversed, e.g. € 75 235,24. We have found that if users that have a European version of Excel
installed, the format will be the European format. If a US version of Excel is
used, the format will be similar to US, but with a different currency symbol,
e.g. $, €, etc. How to customize the number format
